Selling a Pawn Business Is Complicated Selling a
Ladies and Gentlemen in Pawnland!
I wanted to begin this blog by first wishing each and every one of you the very best of the Holiday Season and hope that all of you continue to enjoy your health, blessings, families and opportunities that exist all around us today.
Lord knows the Pawn Industry has been going through some significant changes these past few years and we at the PCG family are proud to be part of the transformation that our industry has been witnessing.
As many of you have heard at our conferences we have spoken at to our Symposiums, Focus Groups or Managing Change Conferences and from some of our supporters, this industry is being faced with many new challenges on many fronts today.
The struggles the world is going through today are different than in any other time in our relatively brief history on the planet. Global economies are in peril, the US economic system is hovering near catastrophe and the Geo-political movements of the New World Order and much more threaten us not only as a species but as business entrepreneurs as well.
The struggles are significant, but for the resilient – we smell opportunity!
PCG along with our collaboration with many others has been delivering up “best of class” training programs and industry “game-changing” programs all year long.
We recently finished up our International Pawn Symposium & Conference down in the Cayman Islands and our 5th of a series of “Managing Change” Conferences up in Orlando with John Thedford, David Johns, Brad Huisken and yours truly.
The Symposium was another huge hit and our ongoing Managing Change Conferences have been beyond my expectations as well as those of our many participants. The Focus Groups recently completed their 2nd gathering this year in Myrtle Beach and are on our way to Edmonton Canada in late April to meet and critique our Cash Canada team up that way.
At PCG I am very happy to report that the industry today on a global basis is very healthy and more than 90% of our clients are in record territories with their businesses today. There are many reasons for these successes, I would like to think it was all PCG, but with the prices of gold, the economic environment, smarter better capitalized operators and more, this industry is in all new territory today.
Who would have thought 30 years ago that you could buy a Pawn Stock traded on the New York Stock Exchange? Today public money has changed the industry more in the past 30 years than in the prior 3000 years.
PCG has just completed the most successful year in our history and it is do the many followers and supporters that we have today. Each of the last 7 years has exceeded the prior and 2012 was by far more fruitful than any in our history.
On behalf of myself and the entire team that works in and around for PCG I can only say “Thank YOU” to all of you for being there for us and helping us change the Pawn world one person, one client and one country at a time.
As one last footnote, I wish to formally announce my creation of a new not for profit organization, we are called “Protect Ocean Life Organization, Inc.”. It is and has been my life long dream to help study, protect and preserve the world’s fragile oceans and Eco-systems. I was certified as a diver more than 40 years ago and have for most all of my life wanted to help preserve some of God’s most beautiful creatures on Earth, including us. The oceans are in peril today, please follow us on our Facebook fan page, web site will be up and running in the next 48 hours and we will start fund-raising immediately. Our first big goal is to produce the first of a series of “Ocean Aid” fund-raising awareness concerts, much more to follow.
God Bless you all, I hope and pray that all of you have the very best of life, happiness and opportunity in the coming years!
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Feliz Navidad, Mele Kalikimaka and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
More to follow and stay tuned!
