PCG Legendary Focus Group Heading to Galveston
Hello folks, I just recently attended the annual CFSA conference here in Ft. Lauderdale, that is a group that is involved in the Payday and Check Cashing Industries. I sat in a number of seminars and once again, the highlight of the show seems to be Social Media.
There were a number of interesting statistics that were tossed around and here is a high light of some of them.
For starters SMS, or text messaging – have any idea how big this is just in the USA today?
They said, 4.5 Billion Texts go out everyday here just in the USA. Yes, 4.5 Billion per day!
Facebook is the 3rd largest nation in the world as far as active participants. Social Media and primarily Facebook are shaping the world in which we live today. Most recently, ALL of the activity that started in the Middle East was stirred up on Facebook, with quotes like “thank God for Facebook” and more coming out of the troubled countries that are over there. Look at how fast what is happening in our world as it becomes socially interacting, the good and the bad!
