Help Shape the 2027 International Pawn Symposium

The International Pawn Symposium is returning in October 2027—and this time, the pawn community will help shape the experience from the very beginning.

Before we select the final destination, educational program, speakers, and activities, Pawnshop Consulting Group wants to hear directly from pawnbrokers, industry leaders, vendors, and professionals from around the world.

What challenges are affecting your business? What subjects deserve an honest, in-depth industry discussion? Where in the world should we gather?

This is your opportunity to help create an International Pawn Symposium designed around the real needs and interests of today’s pawn community.

    Our Mission

The mission of the International Pawn Symposium is to bring forward-thinking pawn professionals together for advanced education, open discussion, global relationship-building, and practical business improvement.

This is not intended to be another oversized trade show where attendees rush from booth to booth.

The Symposium is designed to create a more personal and meaningful experience—one where experienced operators, emerging leaders, industry experts, and trusted partners can exchange ideas, examine important issues, and build relationships that continue long after the event ends.

    Our goals are to:

Ultimately, our mission is to help good pawnbrokers become stronger operators, better leaders, and more successful members of the communities they serve.

What Should We Discuss in 2027?

The most valuable Symposium topics are not selected simply because they sound impressive. They should address the questions, pressures, and opportunities pawnbrokers are experiencing every day.

We want to know which subjects would provide the greatest value to you and your organization.

    Possible topics include:

These are only starting points. We want the community to tell us what is missing.

What problem keeps appearing in your business? What question is nobody answering clearly? What subject could materially improve your profitability, leadership, or operations?

Those are the conversations we want to bring to the 2027 International Pawn Symposium.

Where Should the 2027 Pawn Symposium Be Held?

The destination has always been an important part of the International Pawn Symposium experience.

A memorable setting creates opportunities for relaxed conversations, stronger relationships, and shared experiences that cannot always be produced inside a traditional conference hall.

Several destinations are being explored for October 2027, including:

No final location has been selected.

We want to know which destination excites the pawn community—and we are also open to suggestions that may not yet be on our list.

The final choice must provide more than an attractive view. It should offer dependable travel access, excellent accommodations, strong meeting facilities, memorable group activities, and an environment where education and relationship-building can work together.

What Makes the International Pawn Symposium Different?

The International Pawn Symposium combines serious pawn industry education with the kind of personal interaction that is increasingly difficult to find at larger events.

Attendees should return home with more than a notebook full of ideas. They should leave with practical strategies, trusted professional relationships, renewed energy, and a clearer understanding of where the industry may be heading.

The Symposium is built around three central principles:

    Education With Practical Value

Presentations and discussions should provide ideas that owners and managers can evaluate and apply—not simply broad theories or sales presentations.

    Meaningful Industry Relationships

Some of the most important lessons are learned through direct conversations with other pawnbrokers. The Symposium creates time and space for those conversations to happen naturally.

    A Global Perspective

Pawnbroking operates differently across states, regions, and countries, but many of our challenges are shared. Bringing professionals together from different markets helps everyone see new possibilities.

The Community Will Help Build This Event

Planning for October 2027 is now underway, but we do not want to build the program behind closed doors.

We are asking the pawn community to help answer two important questions:

    1. What topics and challenges should the 2027 Symposium address?
    2. Where should the International Pawn Symposium be held?

We also welcome recommendations for speakers, panel discussions, workshops, group activities, and other ideas that could make the event more valuable.

Whether you operate one pawnshop, manage a growing regional company, represent a multigenerational family business, lead a major organization, or serve the industry through a trusted product or service, your perspective matters.

Help Shape the Future of the International Pawn Symposium

The 2027 International Pawn Symposium will be built around education, collaboration, relationships, and the future of the pawn industry.

    Now we need your voice.

Tell us what you want to learn. Tell us where you would like to go. Tell us which industry conversations can no longer be postponed.

Visit PawnSymposium.com and help shape the October 2027 International Pawn Symposium.

Additional announcements concerning the destination, dates, speakers, program, and registration will be released as planning continues.

Together, we can create an event that reflects the knowledge, ambition, experience, and worldwide strength of the pawn community.
