International Pawn Symposium

Pawnshop Consulting Group Presents

International Pawn Symposium™

One Industry ★   One World ★   An Extraordinary Exchange of Ideas

Pawn may operate differently from one country to another, but the opportunities, challenges and lessons that unite successful pawnbrokers around the world are remarkably familiar.

Bringing the Global Pawn Community Together

The International Pawn Symposium™ was created by Pawnshop Consulting Group to bring pawn-industry leaders, owners, operators and professionals together in an environment built around education, relationships, open discussion and the exchange of real-world ideas.

Why an International Pawn Symposium?

One of the greatest benefits of working throughout the international pawn community has been discovering just how much pawnbrokers can learn from one another. Different countries have different regulations, cultures, products and operating models, but great operators everywhere are trying to build stronger businesses, serve customers better, develop their people and improve financial performance.

PCG created the International Pawn Symposium™ to provide something different from the traditional convention or trade show — a more personal setting where experienced pawn professionals can spend meaningful time together, share ideas openly, develop relationships and learn from perspectives they might never encounter in their own market.

Some of the best ideas in pawn do not come from a presentation. They come from sitting across the table from another pawnbroker and asking, “How do you do it?”

More Than a Conference

The International Pawn Symposium™ is designed around participation rather than spectatorship. Education matters, but so do the conversations between sessions, the relationships developed over dinner, the operating ideas exchanged among peers and the opportunity to experience another part of the world together.

International Perspectives
Learn how pawn professionals in different markets approach customers, lending, inventory, technology, people and growth.
Executive-Level Education
Practical discussions focused on management, financial performance, operations, leadership and the future of pawn.
Peer-to-Peer Exchange
Candid conversations among experienced operators about what works, what does not and what is changing.
Global Relationships
Build friendships and professional relationships that extend far beyond the Symposium itself.
Exceptional Destinations
A distinctive setting encourages attendees to step away from daily operations and think differently about their businesses.
The PCG Experience
Carefully structured programming with the personal interaction and practical perspective that define PCG events.

A Truly International Exchange

PCG’s work with pawn professionals across more than 40 countries has reinforced a simple belief: our industry becomes stronger when good operators are willing to share what they know.

The International Pawn Symposium™ provides a forum for those conversations — connecting independent pawnbrokers, multi-store operators, executives, industry leaders and other professionals who share an interest in advancing both their businesses and the pawn industry itself.

Previous International Pawn Symposiums

Previous PCG International Pawn Symposium programs have combined professional education, international networking and destination experiences designed to create an environment where relationships and ideas can develop naturally.

The 2025 International Pawn Symposium brought members of the pawn community together at Atlantis in The Bahamas for several days of education, discussion, relationship building and international industry exchange.

Looking Ahead

International Pawn Symposium 2027

Planning is underway for the next PCG International Pawn Symposium, targeted for October 2027. Destination and program details are currently under review and will be announced as plans are finalized.

Who Should Attend?

The Symposium is intended for pawnshop owners, senior operators, executives, industry leaders and professionals who value serious business discussion, international relationships and the opportunity to learn from experienced peers.

It is particularly well suited for those who believe that seeing how others operate — especially outside their own market — can challenge assumptions, generate new ideas and create better decisions when they return home.
